How long have you served on the Foundation Board?
Since Spring 2022.
What is your current position on the board, and what other positions have you held in the past?
Currently, Secretary. Past positions, Communications and Fundraising.
What makes you passionate about healthcare in Hinton/what drew you to serve on the board?
A friend invited me to join the board, and at first, I had no idea what it was all about. Once I learned about the foundation’s significant impact on our community, I was eager to contribute. In less than two years, our board has grown significantly with the addition of the ARCH committee, strengthening efforts to attract and retain healthcare professionals. Supporting healthcare has become a shared mission for all of us, and we’re committed to creating opportunities for lasting impact in our community.
What’s is your favourite thing about Hinton?
What do I love most about Hinton? Easy—the mountains and the sense of community. There’s something special about this place. It’s been a pleasure raising my family here, and I’m proud to promote the amazing town we live in.
