What makes you passionate about healthcare in Hinton/what drew you to serve on the board?
Not a single member of my family had a physician and so I looked for a way to get involved. The Foundation has been supporting healthcare in Hinton for decades and it seemed like the best place to focus my efforts. I don’t know that there is a more pressing/important issue facing Hinton and it will take the effort of the healthcare community, the municipality and committed citizens to solve it.
What’s is your favourite thing about Hinton?
I love the community of our community. Music, mountain bikers, disc golfers or the people interested in our history have all come together to support their passions in Hinton. Hinton is a better place because there are so many passionate people doing things that they are passionate about… Healthcare is one of those things and thanks to all of the members of the Hinton Healthcare Foundation Board.
