Two New Physicians Coming to Hinton This Fall

Hinton, AB — The Hinton Healthcare Foundation (HHF) arepleased to share encouraging news for local health care: two new physicians will be joining the Hinton community this fall.
The arrival of these physicians represents meaningful progress in strengthening access to care and supporting the longterm sustainability of health services in Hinton. This milestone means the physicians have committed to Hinton and are working through the necessary steps to begin their practice here later this year. Preparations are underway to support their transition and ensure they feel welcomed as they prepare to make Hinton their new home.
This achievement reflects the dedicated efforts of the Hinton Healthcare Foundation’s Attraction & Retention Committee (ARCH). ARCH plays a key role in physician recruitment by supporting attraction initiatives, community integration, and retention efforts that help make Hinton a place where physicians and their families can thrive.

As the physicians’ arrival approaches, the community will be kept informed of timelines and opportunities to officially welcome them. After they arrive, there will be a short settlingin period while they complete the final onboarding and get established in their practices. During this time, they will not yet be accepting patients. Once this process is complete, the Hinton Healthcare Foundation will notify the community and share information on next steps.
